Landscape Structures, Inc. recently conducted a survey that revealed some shocking statistics about children with disabilities living in the United States.

The survey revealed changing perceptions from a community standpoint. Nearly three quarters (74 percent) of parents believe it is important that their children have an opportunity to play with a variety of children, including those with disabilities. There are numerous benefits of inclusive playgrounds such as allowing children of all abilities the opportunity to play together, as well as bringing together parents with disabilities (wounded veterans) and an aging population.

Best meeting all year, hands down – you inspired me to make our park meetings much better just by infusing enthusiasm!

Look forward to working with you in the future – hopefully we will be making some really cool improvements here at Great Parks.

    Thanks, Carolyn P.
