legacy of play

Kiwanis International and Landscape Structures launched the Legacy of Play Contest on August 10, 2020.

The winning club will receive US$25,000 in playground equipment to be used toward a Landscape Structures playground project of their choice. The contest is open to all Kiwanis clubs who agree to complete their project on or around Kiwanis One Day 2021, Kiwanis International’s signature day of service. Additionally, all contest entrants will receive a certificate for a complimentary OminSpin® spinner with their purchase of $35,000 if placed by Dec. 2020. See below for the updated contest timeline:

  • Applications accepted: Aug. 10 – Sept. 10
  • Online voting: Sept. 14-27
  • Winner announced: Around Oct. 7

Submit a project: https://play.kiwanis.org/

This is a great opportunity to connect with local Kiwanis clubs and remind them of our partnership with Kiwanis International. Signature community projects are important to the clubs and this is a great time for them to consider a playground if they haven’t yet. This is also an opportunity to connect clients who are currently working on funding playground projects with local Kiwanis clubs to participate in this contest.

Best meeting all year, hands down – you inspired me to make our park meetings much better just by infusing enthusiasm!

Look forward to working with you in the future – hopefully we will be making some really cool improvements here at Great Parks.

    Thanks, Carolyn P.
